Today is the start of the LUU Social Forum
Come along to any or all of the free events at LUU's first ever Social Forum. These include film showings, debates, workshops, and an afternoon of mass action, and will be going on throughout the day and into the evenings all week long.
Each day has a central theme, ranging from poverty on Monday, climate change on Tuesday, and human rights on Friday. The forum will also feature speakers from: People and Planet, Jubilee Debt Campaign, World Development Movement, New Internationalist, Revolution, Student Climate Project, Friends of the Earth, NO2ID, No Boarders, Amnesty International, The Truth isn't Sexy, War on Want, NUS, Compass, as well as MPs and academics from Leeds, Goldsmiths and Loughborough University.
