Green Streets will be collecting donations from houses in Leeds from Wednesday 3rd June. Leave your red bags, full of unwanted items, out on the street for collection or drop them off at the Union building. MARYAM WINS BLACK STUDENTS' OFFICER OF THE YEAR!
Maryam Ahmad, LUU's Equality and Diversity Officer 2008-2009, won Black Students' Officer of the Year at this year's NUS Black Students' Conference. The annual national competition, which took place earlier this month, recognises and celebrates the achievements of individuals demonstrating exemplary support for Black students across the UK.
